Rain is not the desired condition for traditional weddings, the image most people tend to think of is happy couples on sunny days. But it is possible to find the unique beauty in these soggy celebrations, and for sure it will be something to remember! Rainy days create a feeling of being cozy with good people in a pleasant atmosphere and everyone collaborates to make feel happy the couple although the clouds.
That day the weather reports were not looking good and once it became clear it was going to rain, the couple accepted it with a smile as the rain on the wedding day actually signifies good luck. Despite a little chaos and water the guests were laughing and having a great time watching us moving the ceremony floral decor and the chairs outdoor, indoor and outdoor again struggling with the rainy drops, so the wedding ceremony became a sort of shared adventure. The roaming Italian bans helped ease a lot as they played fantastic brass band tunes, and it was difficult to not feel upbeat. The timeline was definitely affected by rain, but not certainly ruined.
Then when the clouds broke after the vows the couple exchanged inside the hotel hall, that was pretty good timing on nature’s part. The rest of the day was beautiful and fresh, that perfect Lake Garda clean air after a fresh rain. Although the wet grass we managed to hold the ceremony outdoor and to have a super tasty Italian style wedding dinner in the garden of Torre San Marco. The couple made its entrance with the super cool Remix of the famous Italian song “Sarà perché ti amo” while the guests were waving their napkins to greet them.
The rain kinda forced the couple to have an open and flexible mindset and stay focused on what mattered: creating a day full of joy and love as they celebrated their union with their friends and family.
