English Wedding in the Tuscan Countryside at Relais Borgo Petrognano.
Zoe and Chris, a couple from Manchester, England, chose to have their wedding at the charming Relais Borgo Petrognano. Situated on the Chianti hills among a lush vineyard and olive trees, the estate dazzled the couple and their guests with its romantic charm and breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. With their family and friends by their side, the couple was also able to bring part of Manchester to Italy.
Adding to the natural beauty of their surroundings, Zoe and Chris’s wedding was adorned with intricate details. The décor consisted of purple accents: violet flowers, plum bridesmaid dresses, and strands of lavender in the bride’s hair created a beautiful and sophisticated aesthetic. Their rings were presented in an ornate silver box engraved with both of their names. At the reception dinner, each table was dressed in classy white tablecloths and floral centerpieces, perfectly complementing their scenic venue.
The bride wore an elegant lace dress, beautifully accessorized by her bouquet of English roses and Lisianthus. Her older brother walked her down the aisle where the groom was waiting for her with his best friend by his side. Part of their ceremony consisted of the Unity Candle Ceremony, where the bride and groom use the fire from two smaller candles to light a larger candle, symbolizing the start of a new family.
At their reception, cocktails were served near the swimming pool with a stunning view of the Tuscan landscape. To fully immerse them in the Italian experience, the newlyweds and their loved ones enjoyed romantic Italian music and authentic Italian food. Every last detail fulfilled this Manchester couple’s wishes to have the Italian wedding of their dreams.
